On June 20, 2023, Deputies responded to Interstate 10 near milepost 48 in Iowa, La for a reported dispute. 

When deputies arrived , a State Police Trooper had two subjects separated on the shoulder of the highway and a vehicle had damage to the right front fender. 

The victim stated her boyfriend had grabbed her arm and the vehicle swerved off the road and struck the railing.  The victim had visible marks on her where she stated she was grabbed and had her hair pulled. 

Hunter Allen Lecroix, 20, of 3003 Hodges street, Lake Charles was booked into the parish jail for battery of a dating partner and aggravated criminal damage to property.
