On Thursday, May 25, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 23523 Highway 26, Jennings, in reference to a welfare check.

Deputies received information that a physical disturbance was occurring.  Deputies spoke to both parties and the victim was visibly shaken and crying.  

Deputies were shown video of the altercation and saw the aggressor attack the victim.  Dispatch also notified deputies on scene the aggressor was wanted on outstanding charges. 

Brenda Sue Vidrine, 28, of 23523 Hwy 26, Jennings was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail for Simple Battery and Warrant Number Cr-20-23 possession of drugs paraphernalia.
