On March 12, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to Peto's Truck Stop (15125 Highway 395, Roanoke, Louisiana in reference to a fight.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the fight was a domestic argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend who stopped at the truck stop. 

A witness reported that the male pushed the female down in the parking lot and pulled her hair.  Deputies observed injuries to the victim's face, under her right eye and scratches on her arm. 

Michael Ray Joubert II, 29, of 1610 Dupree Road, Opelousas, LA was arrested and booked for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. A juvenile was traveling with Joubert and his girlfriend.  

Joubert is currently out on bond for his arrest in Calcasieu Parish January 8, 2023, for Domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.  This was Joubert's eleventh arrest, including drug charges, possession of firearms by felon and domestic abuse.
