On March 3, 2023, Jeff Davis Sheriff's detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Lake Arthur, LA. 

This follow-up investigation is a continuance of the investigation and searches conducted March 2, 2023, involving Drekeylone V. Peters, 29, of 607 Down Street, Jennings, and Tela Aeriyal Philpott 25, of 606 Commercial Street, Lake Arthur, at addresses 607 Down Street and the corner of South Broadway Street and South Market Street, Jennings.

Detectives located an additional $11,500 in US Currency believed to be derived from drug transactions by Drekeylone V. Peters.
