Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the complainant, who advised that her boyfriend, Stephen Eugene, threatened to hit her in the face earlier that day.

 

The complainant reported she told Eugene to stop, or she was going to call the cops. Later in the day the complainant reported that Eugene got angry, got out of bed, and punched her in the face multiple times while the children were present in the room.

 

Deputies placed Stephen James Eugene, 38, of 1307 Cathy Lane, Jennings, under arrest for domestic abuse aggravated assault and domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Eugene was transported to the parish jail for booking.
