*****Lake Arthur Burglary investigation update ****

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's detectives have charged Clay Joseph Hebert,22, of 615 N. Craig street, Jennings, with additional charges to include 1 count Aggravated Burglary, 1 count Simple Burglary, 13 counts Theft of firearm,
1 count 1Theft of motor vehicle, 1 count Theft, 1 count Simple Criminal damage to property, and 2 counts Contributing to delinquency of juveniles.

The investigation of a residential burglary on Hwy 3056, Lake Arthur that began on January 30, 2023, led detectives to Hebert and stolen items that detectives recovered.

Detectives also discovered that Hebert committed the burglary while he had two juveniles ages 11, and 12 with him. Detectives are still working the investigation and looking for additional property taken in the burglary.
