On January 16, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Empire Road, Jennings, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance that occurred at 3200 Koll Road, Jennings, Louisiana.    

Upon arrival, Deputies spoke with the complainant, who advised deputies she and her son, got into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation in the presence of two-year-old grandson. 

The complainant advised John grabbed her phone and physically forced her onto the ground in the front room of the residence. 

John David Prejean, 35, was booked into the parish jail for Domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
