On January 03, 2023, deputies responded to a residence on South frontage road, Welsh, La for a disturbance. The resident owner reported his son was told to leave the residence and was refusing to go.  

Deputies discovered a protective order had been issued and was being violated by the son, John Jackson. Deputies ordered Jackson to get up and leave the premises or go to jail.  Jackson refused, and deputies had to forcefully remove him. 

John Dewayne Jackson, 39, of 15313 South Frontage road, Welsh  was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking.
