On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Deputies received information in reference to someone attempting to steal an automobile from 518 Highway 90, Jennings.

As deputies arrived at the scene a white male was seen ducking down hiding behind vehicles on the property.  Deputies observed jumper cables connected between two vehicles and the wiring tampered with inside the vehicles.

Michael Dale Duplechain, 28, of 337 Calcasieu Avenue, Lake Arthur, La was arrested and booked into the parish jail on attempted theft of a motor vehicle charge.
