On May 24, 2022, Deputies were called to a residence on Cleopha  road to take a report of juveniles being sold narcotics and illegal substances.

The juveniles were offered items for sale on social media. Sheriff detectives received information from the parents of two juveniles, investigated the incident and obtained arrest warrants.   

Jude Anthony Martin, 18, of 210 Kellogg street, Lake Arthur, LA was arrested and booked into the parish jail on Thursday June 2nd.  Martin is charged with Contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, Conspiracy to distribute CDS I and Sale, Distribute, make available to minors.
