On Sunday, April 17, 2022, at approximately 2 am Deputies responded to 16385 Highway 102 Boos and Cues Bar in reference to a stabbing. Dispatch advised the victim had been transported to the hospital.

Deputies spoke with witnesses at the bar and to the victim at the hospital to obtain the identity of the suspect.  Deputies patrolling located the suspect walking on the roadway about 7:30 am Sunday morning. 

Tristan Trumaine West, 41, of 4015 Shirley drive, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for aggravated battery.
