On Saturday, April 2, 2022, Deputies received a bolo in reference to a vehicle speeding and driving all over the roadway on Interstate 10 westbound. Deputies observed the vehicle pass mile marker 64 while it was traveling on Interstate 10. 

Deputies made a traffic stop on the vehicle for failure to signal lane change.  While speaking with the driver, deputies observed marijuana in the plain view in the vehicle. A Glock .40 caliber semi-auto pistol was also located in the vehicle.  

The marijuana was seized as evidence and the driver, Henry Celestine, Jr. 64, of 7865 Joyce Lane, Beaumont, TX was booked into the parish jail for possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled dangerous substance schedule IV.
