On Thursday, March 24, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Iowa, Louisiana, in reference to a domestic abuse battery, which occurred at 20500 North Frontage Road Lot 107 in Iowa, Louisiana.

Deputies investigating the call observed injuries to the complainant and a 6 year old child.  The complainant and child were transported to a safe location and detectives were called to follow up. 

A warrant was obtained for Lawrence Ignatius Gilbeaux, 45, of 20500 N. frontage rd., Iowa for Domestic abuse battery Aggravated assault with child endangerment and Cruelty to juveniles. 

Gilbeaux was located and arrested on Friday March 25, 2022 and booked into the parish jail with no bond.
