On Monday, January 17, 2022, deputies were dispatched to Wooden Treasures Trailer Park located 21259 South Frontage Lot 40, Iowa, Louisiana in reference to a disturbance call. 

Upon arrival deputies located the complainant who stated she and her boyfriend Chad Meyer were in their vehicle broke down on South Frontage Road near Highway 165.

The victim said she and Meyer began to argue while they were on the side of the road waiting for a wrecker.  The victim said that is which is when he hit her. 

Devin Chad Meyer, 45, of 21259 South Frontage road, Iowa was arrested and booked into the parish jail for domestic abuse battery and interfering with emergency communications.
