On Sunday, November 28, 2021, Deputies were dispatched to 3809 Ron Road, Jennings, Louisiana, in reference to an attempted burglary. 

The complainant reported that a man was at the backdoor of the residence trying to break in.  Lake Arthur Police arrived on scene first and detained the male for Sheriff's deputies. 

Dwayne Steven Conner, 31, of 609 Louisiana avenue, Lake Arthur, was charged with criminal trespassing and attempted burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
