On June 29, 2021, at approximately 1624 Hours deputies were dispatched to 19340 highway 26 Lot # 30 in Jennings, in reference to a report of a disturbance.

When deputies spoke to the complainant, he stated his nephew kicked in his bedroom door and attacked him in the bedroom.  The complainant said the nephew knocked him to the floor, kicked and stomped him while he was down. 

Darius Klay Mitchell, 30, of 618 Prospect avenue, Lake Arthur was arrested and booked on Second degree battery charges.
