On June 25, 2021, around 4 pm deputies were notified by dispatchers of an older model blue car driving recklessly on Highway 90 Jennings, Louisiana.  Witnesses reported the vehicle ran several other cars off the roadway.  Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle in question traveling eastbound on Highway 90 and observed it cross the center line into oncoming traffic twice before getting it stopped. 

Deputies approached the vehicle and identified the driver as Malcolm Scott Guillory,49, 1202 Kimberly drive, Jennings. Guillory advised his car was running out of gas, as the reason he was driving reckless.  Guillory was found to be driving under suspension.  Guillory admitted to drinking beer and deputies observed open containers in the vehicle.  Guillory was arrested and booked for Open container, reckless operation, driving under suspension, switched plates, possession of CDS schedule I, marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
