On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, deputies were dispatched to 19206 Highway 90 Lot 51 (Lost Shoe RV Park) in reference to a disturbance.

When deputies arrived they observed an irate male subject standing outside the camper.  Deputies attempted to speak with him and ask him what had occurred. The subject refused to give info and tried to walk away. 

The complainant reported that she was pushed and a witness also advised deputies that the male subject had kicked and abused a blue nosed pitbull dog.  Deputies observed blood on the subject's shoes. 

Deputies placed Gregory Lynn Botley, 23, of 19206 Hwy 90 Lacassine under arrest for Domestic abuse battery and aggravated animal cruelty and booked into the parish jail.
