Suspicious person arrested after foot pursuit

On Sunday November 15th Deputies were dispatched to 18509 Highway 90 Lacassine, Louisiana 70650 in reference to a suspicious person.      Upon arrival at the residence, Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised he had witnessed a white male near his fence in his back yard.

The complainant said when he approached the subject he moved into the woods behind his house and refused to speak or explain why he was there. The complainant advised the subject left his bicycle resting inside his fenced yard.     

Deputies checked the area and discovered a white male sitting in the tall grass near highway 90 matching the subject's description. Deputies called out to the white male to come out of the woods and speak to deputies.

The subject failed to comply and proceeded to run away. The subject climbed over a barbed-wire fence and continued to run despite being given multiple commands to stop by deputies. The subject finally complied with commands and stopped running.

Travis Lane Delome, 38 of 513 Frederick street, Sulphur, LA was arrested for LARS 14:63 Criminal Trespass and LARS 14:108.1 Flight from an officer.
