On Sunday night Deputies with Jeff Davis Sheriff office went to a location on Tieje road to attempt to arrest a fugitive wanted by Allen Parish Sheriff Office. 

Deputies were unable to make contact with the fugitive at that location and discovered he may be at a residence in Elton.

At 11:00 pm deputies were successful in locating Kerwin Ahston Lemoine, 31, of 1402 Saint Joseph street, Elton and arresting him on outstanding warrants without incident. 

The warrant from Allen parish was on charges of Criminal trespassing after forbidden and Aggravated assault with a weapon. Lemoine is being held in the parish jail for Allen Parish S.O.
