Thursday night, March 5th around midnight deputies were patrolling on Down street near Howard  when they observed a male subject on a bicycle run stop sign. 

Deputies stopped the individual and discovered he was in possession of marijuana and ecstasy.  Travis Wayne Roy, 37, of 806 Sheridan street, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail on charges of stop signs and yield signs, possession of CDS I, marijuana and possession of CDS I C1a other than marijuana (ecstasy).

Jeff Davis Sheriff's office have received numerous complaints of drug activity in the Down street and West Clara street, Jennings areas, and have increased patrols in the area.
