Jeff Davis Sheriff's deputies responded to a theft report at a warehouse in Lacassine on August 23, 2019.  A report was made that listed a stolen Yamaha motorcycle. 

Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of a suspect after the motorcycle was recovered in Hayes, LA on September 25, 2019. 

On February 18, 2020 Calcasieu Sheriff's deputies arrested Jamey Jay Simon, 25, of 8223 Hwy 101 Hayes,  on the outstanding warrant for theft. 

He was transferred and booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail yesterday afternoon and is held with no bond.
