On Saturday Jan. 4, 2020 at 0338 hrs Deputies were dispatched to 22410 Hwy 383 for a disturbance. 

A Calcasieu Parish off duty deputy had stopped to check on a vehicle stopped in the roadway and discovered a disturbance ongoing.

When Jeff Davis deputies questioned the parties involved they admitted to being in a physical disturbance and striking each other.  The keys to the vehicle were thrown into the woods nearby according to the male identified as Bobby Dale Odom, 45, of 977 North 7th street, Oakdale, LA.

Penny Marie Odom, 38, was the female involved and the individual who threw the vehicle keys into the woods.  Penny Odom was booked into the parish jail for Domestic Abuse battery and Obstructing highway of commerce.  Bobby Odom was booked on Domestic abuse battery and Violation of protective order.
