On Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm , December 17, deputies and Lake Arthur police were called to 708 Calcasieu avenue, Lake Arthur in reference to a disturbance. 

When they arrived two individuals were outside the residence arguing.  Deputies discovered the argument had been physical and both had delivered blows to the other. 

Donna Marie Allemand, 42, and Clyde Joseph Meaux, Jr. , 44, both of 708 Calcasieu Avenue were arrested for Domestic abuse battery and violation of protective orders.  Allemand and Meaux are held in the parish jail pending arraignment and bond.
