Jeff Davis Sheriff’s deputies received a complaint of a burglary at 5454 Koll road, Jennings Monday morning around 9:45 am. 

The owner of the residence recently passed away.  The son of the deceased reported the break in to deputies and advised that a shotgun, crossbow, a Honda 250 Motorcycle and cash was missing from the residence. 

Deputies also discovered a stolen vehicle was left at the residence.  A ford Mustang was reported stolen from Calcasieu Parish. 

Two suspects were picked up shortly after by deputies.  Benjamin Wayne Landry, 38, of 613 Third street, Jennings and Blake Everette Dartez, 25, of 5465 Koll road, Jennings were arrested and booked into the parish jail for Aggravated Burglary, Theft of a firearm, Theft of motor vehicle and Theft.  Both are held with no bond.
