Around 8:20 am this morning 911 call came in that a plane crashed.  Jeff Davish Sheriff's units responded to LA 382 and David road, South of Roanoke, LA. 

The plane, a crop duster had struck a power pole , lost a wing and then struck a tree before coming to a stop in a field. 

The pilot walked away from the crash and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle with minor scrapes. 

Jeff Davis Sheriff's office and the NTSB are investigating.  Welsh Fire district 3 responded to assist.
