Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's detectives are asking the public for assistance in identifying the owner of a vehicle. The vehicle was involved in a hit and run at the Tiger mart in Lake Arthur, LA, on November 22, 2018.

At approximately 2:00 pm the vehicle pictured above was left unattended, running and in gear by the driver.  The vehicle rolled backwards approximately 150ft and struck a parked vehicle behind the store.

The driver, a white male, was last seen running across the parking lot to his uncontrolled vehicle, entering the vehicle and speeding away without reporting the damage.
