Jefferson Davis Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a call of a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 102.

Deputies discovered the driver, Tory Lynn Reed, 40, of 22351 Panchoville Rd., Jennings was still behind the wheel. 

Reed was charged with Driving while intoxicated, attempted simple escape and possession of CDS II.  While transporting Reed to the parish jail, she removed her handcuffs in an attempt to escape. 

During booking procedures deputies discovered Reed had a schedule II pill , Hydrocodone in her possession.
