Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Sex Offender watch program discovered that a Tier 1 sex offender had moved from his reported residence to a location in Evangeline, LA without notification to authorities. 

On Friday, April 20, 2018 deputies in Acadia parish arrested Mario David Mata, 31, of Country Court road, Evangeline, LA for Failure to notify of address change under LSA 15:542.1.2.

Mata was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish jail this morning and booked on the charges. He is held with no bond.
