On Saturday, November 18, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 1990 Piney Woods Lane, in reference to a trespassing complaint.

Deputies located 3 people camping on the property.  The landowner requested the people leave his property and declined to press charges.  During the investigation deputies observed the three individuals were in possession of firearms.  Records check on the weapons revealed that one was reported stolen from a resident of Roanoke, La in 2020. 

The weapon was seized and the male in possession was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm.  Kolby Reece Ardoin, 21 of 809 Sixth street, Lake Arthur was booked into the parish jail.
