On Wednesday October 4, 2023, Jefferson Davis Sheriff's deputies stopped a Black Camaro for traffic violation on N. Adams street and E. Nichols, Welsh, La. 

A consent to search was obtained and narcotics was found in the vehicle. 

Deputies arrested Megan Colleen Lott, 41, of 911 N. Cary avenue Jennings, La for possession of marijuana, possession of CDS II, possession of CDS IV, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, illegal use of CDS in presence of minors, and outstanding contempt of court warrant.

The driver Brittany Skye Marie Legros, 33, of 209 W. Fifth Street, Roanoke, LA was released on citation.
