On September 24, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the 14220 North Frontage road, Welsh, LA for a disturbance. 

Deputies were advised by complainant that Curtis Lyons had hit him in the shoulder with an axe. 

Deputies placed Curtis Ray Lyons, 67, under arrest for Aggravated Battery.  Lyons was transported to the parish jail and booked.
