On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 2135 Eighth Street, Lake Arthur, in reference to the theft of a motor vehicle around 9:00 pm.   

The victim, advised her boyfriend, had stolen her vehicle after they had been in a fight.  He was in a black Buick Lacrosse.  , after he hit her. The complainant advised dispatch that the boyfriend was last seen driving north towards Jennings. 

While responding to the call north on Highway 26, deputies observed a black Buick west on Trailer Town Road.  The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was identified as Randall Keith Boudreaux, 25, of 3650 West Racca Road, Jennings. 

The vehicle was confirmed as the complainant's vehicle reported stolen.  Boudreaux was detained for unauthorized use of a movable.  Deputies observed bruises and marks on the complainant's body, and she reported that Boudreaux had beat her and threw her around the house on Tuesday night September 19, at their house on West Racca Road. 

Deputies placed Boudreaux under arrest for Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, Domestic Abuse Battery with Strangulation, and Unauthorized Use of a Movable.
