On September 18, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 16139 Ardoin Cove Road, Welsh, in reference to a disturbance which took place at the residence.  

Upon arrival at the above address, Deputies observed Steve Randall Soileau , 52, of 2596 Hwy 3059, Lake Charles walking out of the rear door of the residence.

Deputies asked him his name and what was going on and he began yelling in the direction of the complainant. Deputies received information that a physical encounter had occurred between Soileau and his mother. 

Deputies arrested Soileau for domestic abuse battery and two outstanding contempt of court warrants.
