The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office STAT Unit (Specialized Tactics and Training) proudly attended the 2026 Louisiana Tactical Police Officers Association Annual Training Conference, hosted by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office from May 4th through May 8th.

This annual conference brings together tactical officers and specialized units from across the state to participate in advanced training, scenario-based exercises, and continuing education designed to sharpen skills and strengthen teamwork. Throughout the week, our STAT deputies trained alongside fellow professionals, shared best practices, and gained valuable insight into evolving techniques and technologies that support safer, more effective operations.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and resolve our STAT Unit demonstrated not only during the conference, but in the months of preparation leading up to it.
