The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office was honored to welcome Sheriff of the Day Eli Morvant.


Sheriff Morvant began his morning with a briefing alongside Sheriff Kyle C. Miers and members of the Command Staff, where he learned about daily operations and the responsibilities involved in leading the department. Following the morning meeting, Sheriff Morvant was given a guided tour of JDPSO facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the work and coordination required to serve the citizens of Jefferson Davis Parish.


During his visit, Sheriff Morvant conducted an inspection of the equipment and fleet utilized by JDPSO Deputies. His curiosity, professionalism, and enthusiasm made a strong impression on everyone he met throughout the day.


The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office extends its appreciation to Sheriff Morvant for his time and interest in public service. We were proud to have him wear the badge.
