Juneteenth Holiday 2026/Office Closure

The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office joins our community in honoring Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, reflection, and progress.

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of unity, understanding, and the continued pursuit of equality for all. Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of African American communities-both in our parish and across the nation.

In observance of Juneteenth, all JDPSO business offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th. Regular operations will resume the following business day. As always, our deputies remain available for emergency and law‑enforcement needs.

We encourage everyone to take time today to learn, reflect, and engage in ways that bring our community closer together.
