Independence Day 2026/Office Closure

As we approach Independence Day, the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office would like to wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful holiday. This time of year gives us the opportunity to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and the values that continue to unite us as a community.

In observance of the holiday, all JDPSO business offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. Normal operations will resume the following business day. Please note that our patrol deputies and emergency personnel will remain on duty 24/7, as always, to ensure the safety and well‑being of the residents and visitors of Jefferson Davis Parish.

As you gather with family and friends, we encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly:

Keep an eye on children and pets around fireworks and outdoor activities
Never drink and drive - plan ahead for a safe ride home
Report any suspicious activity so we can continue keeping our communities safe
