Fugitive arrested

On Monday July 22, deputies located a vehicle stopped in the roadway at LA 102 and Sarver lane around 7:45 pm.
The vehicle appeared to be disabled. Deputies stopped to assist the occupants who said they were having car trouble.
During the stop a records check revealed one occupant was a fugitive wanted by Texas authorities.
Donavan Justin Withers Jr., 27, of 4026 Wilbert D Rochelle road, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for an outstanding warrant from Chambers county Texas.
This is the seventh felony arrest for Withers.
