The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office Assists in the Execution of a Homicide Warrant

On February 9, 2026, the Jefferson Davis Parish
Sheriff's Office STAT Unit (Specialized Tactics and Training)
executed a homicide arrest warrant on behalf of the United States
Marshals Office for a subject wanted out of the State of Texas.

The subject was located at a residence in Jefferson Davis Parish, and
upon the STAT Units' arrival, a surround and call-out was conducted at the residence. The subject was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. No injuries were reported, and the operation was completed safely.
