Domestic disturbance leads to arrest

On Wednesday, August 11,deputies were dispatched to Market Basket Store in Welsh for a domestic involving at knife.
The complainant reported that he got into argument with girlfriend over money loaned and she hit him several times and pulled a knife on him.
Tyla Monique Porter, 18, of 13465 Payton road, Welsh was arrested and booked into the parish jail for domestic abuse aggravated assault.
