Deceased Individual Found on HWY 90 Near Pousson Rd

Today, May 26, 2025 at approximately 0800hrs, patrol deputies with the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office located a vehicle parked on the side of Highway 90 near Pousson Road. Upon making contact with the vehicle, deputies located a deceased male inside of the vehicle. JDPSO Detectives responded to the scene and are still investigating the incident at this time. No foul play is suspected at this time and the name of the individual will not be released due to pending family notification.
