2025 Jefferson Davis Parish Torch Run

Monday, May 13, 2025 the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office hosted the first ever Special Olympic Torch Run in Jefferson Davis Parish. Deputies, along with officers from other agencies, some Special Olympic Athletes, and Attorney Daniel Sparks participated in the run. The run started at the JDPSO Admin Office and finished at the Jefferson Davis Parish Courthouse. We would like to thank Jennings PD and Louisiana Probation and Parole for assisting JDPSO with blocking intersections throughout the run. We also would like to thank those in the community who cheered on the runners along the route.
