September 16, 2026 Arrest (D. Braley)

In early August 2026, the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Lake Arthur. During the search warrant, a phone belonging to Darryl Braley (DOB 12/11/1987) was seized.

While executing a search warrant on the phone, investigators located vulgar images and videos of underage children engaged in sexual conduct. Detectives issued a warrant for Braley on eight counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles.

On September 16, 2026, detectives with JDPSO, with the assistance of the JDPSO Patrol Division, executed an additional search warrant on the residence. Detectives seized additional electronic devices that are believed to contain child pornography.

Braley was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail on eight counts of pornography involving juveniles. More charges are possible before the investigation is completed.
