On April 2, 2026, the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office STING (Specialized Tactical Investigative Narcotics Group) utilized the JDPSO STAT Unit (Specialized Tactics and Training) and JDPSO Patrol Deputies to execute a Narcotics Search Warrant at the residence of 203 W. Madison St., Jennings, La.

The Narcotics Search Warrant resulted in the arrest of Andre Gant, 31, and George Gant. 54, who reside at that address. STING Detectives recovered approximately 12 Ounces of Methamphetamine, 2.5 lbs. of Marijuana, Promethazine Hydrochloride, Drug Paraphernalia, and a firearm.

Andre and George Gant were arrested without incident and were booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail for Possession of CDS I with Intent - Marijuana, Possession of CDS II with Intent - Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Andre Gant was additionally charged with Possession of a Legend Drug.
