On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 3304 North Frontage Road Lot 23, Jennings, Louisiana, in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Deputies investigating the incident were advised by the complainant that his girlfriend had gotten into an argument with him and she threw a coffee mug at him. The complainant sustained a cut to the hand from the broken glass mug and reported his girlfriend left the location before deputies arrived. 

The girlfriend, Tanya Lynn Bergeron, 45, of 3304 N. Frontage road, Jennings was located at the Circle K on Elton road by deputies and placed under arrest for domestic abuse aggravated assault.
