Drug arrest

On Sunday, September 25, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to 522 East First Street, Roanoke, Louisiana, in reference to a welfare check on two juveniles. 

The complainant reported that the juveniles had contacted her and were afraid, because their dad and stepmother were inside the residence unconscious, with the stove on.

When deputies arrived, they observed the two juveniles, age 8 and 10, playing outside. Deputies could hear a female yelling from inside the residence. 

Deputies made entry and discovered a male and female adult inside. It was determined by deputies that no altercation had occurred between the two adults.

Deputies checked for warrants and found that both individuals had outstanding warrants for arrest.  During the investigation deputies observed in plain view a baggy of suspected marijuana on a table. 

Torrey Lynn Washington, 43, of 522 East First St., Roanoke was booked into the parish jail for possession of CDS I, illegal use of CDS in presence of minors, and 3 counts of contempt of court warrants. 

Emilie Marie Mott, 27, of 522 East First St., Roanoke, was issued citation for possession of CDS I and illegal use of CDS in presence of minor.  Mott was released on citation due to unavailable jail space.
