On Wednesday September 7, 2022, Detectives with the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office along with Detectives with the Lake Arthur Police Department executed a search warrant at 708 Calcasieu Street, Lake Arthur, La.

Upon execution of the search warrant, Kacie Meaux and Rebecca Holden were located inside the residence. Deputies conducted a search of the residence where approximately 9 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana a schedule I narcotic, 1.3 grams of a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine a schedule II narcotic, 5 grams of a white powdery substance believed to be heroin a schedule I narcotic, 18 suboxone strips which is a schedule III narcotic, 2 round blue pills inscribed with C1 identified as Clonazepam a schedule IV narcotic, 9 oval blue pills inscribed with b706 identified as Alprazolam a schedule IV narcotic, and .5 ounces of a green liquid believed to be promethazine a schedule V narcotic were located along with $6,461 in cash.

During the investigation into the search of the residence it was learned a 5-year-old boy resides at the residence as well.

Kacie Lynn Meaux, 37, of 708 Calcasieu, Lake Arthur and Rebecca Holden, 42, of 708 Calcasieu, Lake Arthur were booked on the charges of 40.966.C Possession of Marijuana, 40:966.A Possession of Heroin, 40:967.C Possession of Schedule II (Meth), 40:968.C Possession of Schedule III, 40:969.C Possession of Schedule IV (2 counts), 40:970.C Possession of Schedule V, 40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from drug activity, and 14:91.13 Illegal use of CDS in the presence of a minor.
