On Friday, August 5th, 2022, Detectives with the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 407 S. McFarland Jennings, LA.

Detectives had utilizing an undercover, purchased crack cocaine on three separate occasions previously from 407 S. McFarland. A search of the residence was conducted, and detectives located a Herstal .57 caliber handgun.

Detectives searched the residence and recovered white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine, 6.1 grams of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, and $9,734.00 in U.S currency.

Drekeylone V. Peters, 29,  was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail on charges of Possession of CDS II with intent, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm with CDS, Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, and three counts of Distribution of CDS II.
