On June 22,2022, Deputies responded to the area of Touchet Road Jennings in reference to a caller stating, there was a white male subject with no shirt standing at the bridge, acting suspicious. 

Deputies located a male in the area matching that description riding a bicycle. Deputies made contact with the subject, Michael Shane Kratzer, 52, of Roanoke, LA.  Deputies had dispatch check for warrants. 

Kratzer had two active warrants by Jeff Davis Sheriff's Office. Kratzer was arrested and transported to the jail. 

A search of Kratzer's property at the jail revealed a grinder with marijuana inside and a small plastic baggy of suspected methamphetamine. 

Kratzer was charged with Possession of CDS SCH II, Possession of CDS SCH 1, Possession of Drug paraphernalia, and Taking contraband into a pinole Facility along with the initial two warrants.
